Yes, there will be hiccups and growing pains, but this team will right the ship. This will be the team no one wants to see in June. Trust Coach Johnson!

I do trust Jay, but that’s no guarantee the team comes together. They have a lot of work to do. We need some leaders to emerge and young guys to step up. We have seen those things happen before under Jay, though. But they have to take those steps. He can’t do it for them.

I trust Jay to make the right moves. There’s zero reason for panic right now.

This wouldn’t be the first time we started slow and figured it out!

All of these losses have been terribly frustrating and a bit embarrassing to sub .500 teams but Baseball can change very quickly. Strong performance out of the Pen, 6.2 0 runs. Let’s see if they can use to start building some positive momentum?

You can only use "that's baseball" 3 times per season and we're now up to 6.

I think it's going to be an off year. I'd be surprised if we have a winning record in the SEC. Outside of starting pitching, there is nothing this team has that is exceptional. If the bullpen comes around, that would be our chance of doing something good this year. I don't think the hitting is gonna save us.

Defense tightening up will fix alot of the problems. Errors on D giving life to extended plays, runs, etc. and LSU wins some of these they've dropped. But its on the players to play.
