The ball is right in front of him. Granted it made a really lucky kick to the outfielder, but he is doing it wrong if he is looking past the ball in front of him to pick up a 3rd base coach

The coach could have stopped him at second. He should have stopped him. These things have to get fixed soon. It is hard to watch this at the college level.

Disagree. A ball in front of you when you’re running to second you make the call. Hardly ever would you logically take your eye off the ball to gaze at the coach to tell you what to do.
