I was more upset with him leaving than Baun. He outplayed Werner while he backed him up.

Same AAV as Demario but ranked a lot lower per pff. Probably our best option left though

Welcome home.
Our draft is going to be completely unpredictable now past one or even including it. Keep it up FO.

The more freedom for them to go BPA the better. We need playmakers all over the field.

Are you saying he was played out of position in Atlanta?

This has been the MO forever. They try to fill every hole in FA and go into the draft with a plan of building on, not filling gaps.

Sometimes it doesn’t work out that way, but that’s been their MO.

Good signing. He’s older than Chenal but this is only for 3 years. He’s not a Pro Bowler or anything but he’s just a good arse player. Reminds me of Tranquil and Bolton for KC.

Neither of those guys are All Pros but they’re damn good in the middle of that defense. Elliss and Stutsman will be a good combo in the middle.

He played in the 3-4, similar to Staley’s D. But I’m pretty sure he was Rightside and not Left. Right side is more of a Mike in the 3-4. Elliss always excelled as more of an off ball, WLB. Hence why other posters were saying he outplayed Werner, who was WLB at the time

I’m saying the scheme in New Orleans favors certain aspects of a position over the ones that Atlanta’s scheme does.

It’s why Reese and Caleb Downs are game changers for this defense and someone like delane will not nearly have the same impact.

Love the signing. Demario role filled but better in coverage and even more of a freak rushing the passer.

Pretty sure Styles can play inside or outside in our defense and would make us super dynamic.

Hmm do you think he would be taking over Demario’s role in our scheme?

I’m assuming Demario was the RILB also so same position as Elliss played last year then
