I really think getting him back and bringing solidarity to the lineup. Could definitely help at this point.

I laugh at those saying jay was being forthright about this injury

Is this normal 7-10 days or the Gavin Guidry 7-10 days last year?

Have we though?

I get Jay has been secretive with injuries, but pretending like the Guidry situation last year was the norm is dishonest. Guidry himself said he would be fine on Monday and looking to pitch on Friday, only for his back to seize up on Thursday.

I recall when Stanfield was being held out of the Sunday Milwaukee game just out of precaution and he was simply "day to day".

I remember when Neal wasn’t out for the season either.

You and me both. But even when he comes back its going to be a slow go offensively. Defensively we should see a real lift there.

Let's have a play on words. "Day to Day" means to evaluate an injury from one day to another. If you are not better that day we move to the next and so forth. So, were they completely wrong in saying "Day to Day"

Maybe, maybe not

Was I wrong when I disagreed and called it “month to month”?

As of right now yes because it has not been a complete month. Wait until the 16th then it will be "month to month". 30 days

He hurt his hand in the Saturday game against Milwaukee on February 14th. Saturday makes it a month regardless of 28 days in February.

Sorry but a month is classified as 30 days. Hence the reason there WAS 30/60 day DL. And any other classification is 30-60-90 days meal plans, workout schedules and such.

Then why does February never have 30 days?

At the simplest level, most well-known lunar calendars are based on the initial approximation that 2 lunations last 59 solar days: a 30-day full month followed by a 29-day hollow month — but this is only roughly accurate and regularly needs intercalation (correction) by a leap day.

There's no DL in NCAA baseball baw. Saturday makes 4 weeks since Stanny slid into home. Get over it
