MANSFIELD — A massive Buc-ee’s Travel Center is planned near the I-71/Ohio 39 interchange, local and company officials confirmed Monday afternoon. The sprawling retail center could mean more than 200 new, full-time jobs in the city at a site that could encompass more than 70,000 square feet. It would feature more than 100 gas pumps and unique offerings that have made the Texas-based company a favorite since it was founded 44 years ago. Along with its famous beaver mascot, Buc-ee’s has competitive wages and benefits for its workers, according to published reports. The company is scheduled to open its first Ohio location on April 6 in Huber Heights, near Dayton. The project has been months in the making and includes cooperative efforts among the city of Mansfield, Richland County officials and trustees in Madison and Mifflin Township

they must pore over demographic maps to find the areas most highly concentrated with empty headed, mouth breathing consumers when deciding where to build one of these places.

They should do a licensing deal with Ohio State and make all kinds of apparel and knickknacks with the Ohio State colors and the beaver logo using the phrase "Go Buc-eyes" or something to that effect.

Yes, they've at least got to be consumers. Portland, San Francisco, all those "woke" areas that refuse to prosecute theft? They get looked over.

the brisket is fair. Acceptable. It's really nothing special. Those candied cashews and pecans are good but everything is over priced

No dipshit, it’s almost exactly half way between Columbus and Cleveland. It is also near Amish Country. It will get a lot of people visiting Amish Country as well as traffic between Cleveland and Columbus.

That one is between Indianapolis and Columbus. Also somewhat on the way to Toledo from Cincinnati, basically in Dayton.

I think the Mansfield one would do better, but who knows.

Had a project where I worked at a warehouse that supplied school supplies there. Wasn’t much there. Probably a good spot for a Buc-ee’s
