Lunch with Skip

CJJ mentioned that he often has lunch with Skip on a weekly basis in season.

Wonder what advice Skip is passing along...

I’m sure one of the first things Skip mentioned to Jay at their last lunch was if you’re in a jam, call Sam. He’ll get it done

I would hope he is telling him to try to moderate pre season expectations some, even if it means dropping some negative hints. Supremely high pre-season and early season expectations are what gets good coaches fired.

We started 2023 out number 1 and 2025 out number 3. Wasn’t an issue then
