And some thought they were going to resign olave for less than 20 million. Olave's price is probably floor 29-30 upwards to 33 apy.

Wide Receiver contracts are insane currently.

Yes they are. Alec Pierce is a nice player but that is an outrageous contract for him.

Before the season and pending injuries this year it was realistic.

I don't think anyone believes he will get less than 30mil since the end of the season.

And the Saints would be stupid to offer a huge contract to him

Olave's floor is 33 mil and his ceiling is 37 million.

Clearly not. Pierce isn’t even as good as Olave and got this.

Yall want to let Olave walk and give Shough and even worse WR room than we had last year?

Give the dude a chance

And this is why he should be traded. You don’t give a 2 that kind of money. He isn’t a 1, but an elite 2.

He's a 1. If he's on the field, he's a top 10 producing WR. That's called a 1.

Only 84 guaranteed so thats essentially 21 million a year plus incentives. 25 to 26 million a year guaranteed plus incentives sounds about right for Olave.

No. Trade him, and replace him with a group of WRs in the draft that can give Shough even more options.

What do you think Olave fetches? It’s going to be a 1 or a 2 and multiple picks. This draft is deep at WR. Say it’s a 2 and a 3 and with those picks you bag Bell and Stowers. Is that better than the targets on the present day roster, including Olave?

At that rate, I'll play for one year. Im probably 10% of the player Olave is so I'll do it for $3M.

Making the draft of top WRs more practical by the day.

So how much did Olave need Tyler or Tyler need Olave seems the money question because top WRs will not be cheaper next year or the next. I don’t want to be jerry jones and wait till the most expensive moment to sign my own FAs.

Not that it matters, but why post something that clearly shows you know nothing about the NFL?

No he isn’t. He can’t handle the X route tree. Stop confusing his production with his position on the field.

but he's our x and will be our x. so he's both x and production. thus.... a number 1.
