Are we getting the truth about how the war is going?

There are reports that Iran has knocked out 3 THAAD systems (basically radar that prompts our ability to intercept missiles in the ME) and that as a result Tel Aviv is getting hammered.
These same reports are stating US bases in the region have been crippled.

I hate to link CNN, but most articles are foreign in origin.
There are numerous social media discussions on the topic. There are even rumors of US SF hostages.

It’s odd, there was wall to wall ground and aerial coverage in Iraq and Libya. We had some footage of Venezuela. But there’s been nothing so far. I don’t believe we’ve been told the truth.

The fact of the matter is Trump himself doesn’t know the truth on how the war is going. Netanyahu just wants to murder everyone, so it’s going well from his perspective, but from a peacekeeping standpoint, we won’t know for weeks.

Oh no not another one of these posts. If Israel was getting blown into oblivion then we would know about it. Every country in the world has media stationed there with live shots going out to the rest of the world regularly. There wouldn’t be any way to hide it. You would have X posts and other social media sites with videos of it from regular people showing the damage. All this is just a conspiracy theory. Besides there is no way our media here would cover up the fact that Trump and Bibi were failing in this war. They would love to show you those pictures and videos.

I wouldn’t go that far, but some things don’t make sense. Moreover, it’s now believed that Russia and China are heavily involved in supplying Iran with weaponry. Iran doesn’t seem to be conceding anything.
Again I ask, what’s the objective and how do we achieve it without a ground war?
Also, in addition to financial strain, what are we willing to risk to “win” this war? Are we willing to lose a carrier?

I doubt Russia is giving any weaponry away.
China conceivably could be selling weapons.
But what would Iran give in return?
The currency is shut.
And if I were China, I wouldn't take a future promise of oil.
I doubt either are doing anything other than intelligence.

The Artesh rise up and coup against the IRGC.
Loyalty in Iran isn't like loyalty in the west.
Loyalty in Iran is tied to power and strength.
Iran is lying about damage to US operations, kills, and POWs.
They aren't trying to convince the US media to accept the lies.
They are trying to convince their own people that they are strong and worth fighting for.
We are a week in. And they already deem this type of information operationally necessary.
That is the ticking time bomb in Iran. When the Artesh think of family and friends who have been arrested or harmed by the IRGC.
When the Artesh think of the lies perpetrated by the Islamic Republic of Iran.
When the Artesh ask what they are doing for the war going on right now. What role they play in defending against the US and Israel.
And why their country is getting their asses kicked day in and day out.

There are no unbiased sources in the legacy media—which is the only media with the resources to follow the story firsthand in Iran—to report on something like this.
There's literally no way for regular citizens to know at this point.

I’ve seen several X posts saying Israel has been hit very hard, some with video, but again, is it fake propaganda or the truth? It’s tough to tell.
