I keep hearing commercials for donating cars to Heritage for the Blind. Does anyone know what they do with the donations? Are they repaired, if necessary, and resold? If so, where? A quick search only mentions the donating part.

Yes, you donate the car, write it off on taxes, they sell the car and keep the proceeds

Where do the car sales take place?
NM, I finally found something about it.
They salvage or recycle donated cars to support services for the visually impaired, rather than selling vehicles directly to the public.

They don't give the car to a blind person?

Hopefully not letting them drive.

They end up as one of those cars you see the Mexicans towing back to the border, three at a time, on the interstate.

Have seen more and more taking Hwy 27 south to Hwy 82 for reasons unknown.

I think most of those places take the car to an auction house. We recently donated a car to Habitat for Humanity and that's what they did. Afterwards they send you documentation on what the car sold for so you have something for taxes.

Do not support, the blind should not be driving

tied to AIPAC and Jewish Heritage for the Blind they are both brothers (same last name) and also running a cash car buying scam if you look them up and read the complaints its insane they are still in business

they resell the vehicle basically to peddle.com and collect commission you would get more selling it yourself than giving it to them its a washing machine basically where they try to convince you to donate if you wanna sell and if you donate they submit it to peddle and collect 90% which goes to the owner pockets

Donating to any kind of “cause” these days is a scam. No one is doing it out of the kindness of their heart.
