The ability for a conference to strip a win from one team and enforce the game resume from the B1 is certainly a choice and something I never knew could be executed. Where was this energy with the Nola No-Call?

Getting it right is all that matters

I don't understand nullifying a 11-7 final score over a call that happened in the first inning

Judging by your team affiliation (Astros) maybe we can revoke some of those WS games. Go bang on some more garbage cans

Because everything that happened after that call could’ve been influenced by the call itself.

What rule was misapplied?

The NOLA No Call wasn’t a reviewable play, but was a terrible no call that cost the Saints a chance to play in the Super Bowl.

Should just resume bottom of first and if the Aggies score 5 runs, they win.

Because once the game is played under protest and the play in question was ruled incorrectly, the game restarts at that moment. Wiki George Brett pine tar

Except it sounds like the “error” was that the umps weren’t allowed to get the call right.
Here’s what happened: Batter was hit by pitch as check swinging. He was awarded first base. It was then reviewed and determined he swung, so he was returned to the plate from first base. The technically correct call. Except the umps weren’t allowed to review the check swing. So the NCAA is saying they should have left him on first base. Which would have been the right procedure, but the wrong call.
They are literally replaying an entire game to uphold an incorrect call made in the bottom of the first inning. So if “getting it right is all that matters”, the results of the game should have stood.
Apparently, the NCAA disagrees with you. To them, procedure matters more than getting it right

They string a few hits the likelihood of the starter getting chased goes up drastically

The protest needs to go away. Just protest it the moment it happens, and then everyone figures out the correct ruling right then and there. I don’t understand why baseball thinks it’s ok to review a protest later on? Like why not figure out the correct ruling whenever it happens? Did A&M protest immediately or did they file a protest after the game?

The protest is typically immediate. The only other time I’ve ever seen one, the game stopped for several minutes. Umpire crew came out with rule books and resolved the protest before the game proceeded.
