So, it does indeed appear that black employment was propped up by federal hiring

The black unemployment rate is 7.7% after today’s report, way higher than other races.

The federal layoffs have hit the blacks particularly hard, for two reasons

1) Black people, especially black women, are very overrepresented in the federal workforce.

2) fired black federal workers are not being absorbed fast enough into private sector, compared to fired white and Asian federal workers.

It came out last year via DOGE that *65%* of black women with a degree work(ed) for the federal govt

Essentially, instead of focusing on training an entire group to be acclimated to the private sector, we instead just gave a bunch of them federal jobs, often featherbedded, to “fast track” them to middle class status.

Federal employment is down 11% since Jan 2025, and the mask has been ripped off. It turns out that much of the “gains” in the black community since the civil rights era were artificial and contrived.

Many of these Black women fired last year have yet to get a private job.

Previous admins should be ashamed for doing this.

Plus, the DEI hires are proving bad decisions too.

If you are familiar with pew social data, interesting graph on R vs D views on economy. Quite different views immediately after Trump took office. Good illustration of how divided we are as a country.

My dad used to say "half of the jobs were created just so someone could have a job."

Just think what the numbers would be if they eliminated USPS.

Get sued and go through an EEOC complaint and you’d understand.

Black employment rate going up is a sign of recession, which is expected since we are in a recession, they just kicked the can from 2023

Big win for c on z. We know she wasn’t getting employed on merit.

If the federal government payroll was cut by 50% and much of the business being done at the federal level was returned to the states the black unemployment rate would jump up .5%

Yep, the biggest SCAM in this country. It was used to keep them on the Democratic plantation. Now we must cull state, county, and city employment nationwide.

Not just federal. State jobs too.

Here in Alabama, you can't talk too long about eliminating our stupid ABC liquor laws without being called a racist for wanting to move those workers to the private sector.
