Noem "Firing" a bargaining chip

Although most think Kristi Noem was "Fired" to get Chuckie and the Dems to fund DHS, I believe it was part of DJT's plan to get RINO Thune off his arse.
If RINO Thune doesn't start doing his job, Trump will support Noem when she runs against Thune for Senate.

Won't Trump be out of office then?
Yup, 2028

Pretty good strategy to hit the US Senate campaign trail with the strong claim of being fired by Trump.
I think you might have overthought this.

Not until Jan 2029 (IF HE LEAVES!). He will still be Pres and widely popular in spring of 28 (When the primary will be held)

I don't know many people who have been fired from high level positions who were allowed to stay on board for an extra 25 days after being "Fired"

I think she's going to end up just disappearing like Sarah Palin. She's fricking horrible.

I love how the same people that buy every thing they see from the Twitter grifters also believe this Noem thing is some type of 8D underwater parcheesi. She sucks and she's getting buried in a spot where she can be controlled. Nothing more to it.

Nope. Trump will be president until noon on 1/20/2029.
That is, unless he runs and wins again for the fourth time.

MK had someone on yesterday and they were discussing how it is well known in GOP DC circles that Corey and Noem were doing what they were doing and they were doing it out in the open. Sitting on his lap etc.

He will still have massive sway over the party post 2028 unless he destroys his brand with the base between now and then.

his approval numbers have been in steady decline for a year or more and he has the lowest average approval on record. dude is an albatross for anyone running for office

Somebody needs to primary that slimy bastard. Getting rid of Thune has to be a top priority for 2028 (And it makes me sick that we have to wait 2 years).
