Sac St can't hit a lick but their pitching may be a bit of a challenge, especially with the state of our offense at the moment.

so this weekend they’ll be facing prime Pedro Martinez, Madison Bumgarner, and Roy Halladay.

It should be a good test of the theory people had that we dipped in production because the quality of stuff declined to below what our hitters are accustomed to.

It's not a theory I think has credence over multiple games (I think it can affect one game a few times through the order), but many people have mentioned it here recently.

It will definitely be interesting to see how our bats respond to the challenge and recent adversity. I'm a little more concerned about the effort and hustle pieces that at times appear to be substandard for our brand.

Jay's mantra for this season is "all in on now" and I expect that he would field a team that exemplifies this.

I would like to see Jay go back to his L/R synchro batting orders. He seems to have stacked alot of same side hitters together more this year than ever before.

At this point I think Jay is hoping for a washout to get his team rest.

They have certainly been more proactive in the past with adjusting times due to imminent weather, but
