And Stitt was called out by Trump recently. He better not screw this up because as a rule the replacement has advantages as an incumbent when the special election happens purely by name recognition.
I wonder if Jackson will run, he ran against Cucker Lankford last time. Hard to beat entrenched politicians with purse strings.

In Oklahoma, when a U.S. Senate vacancy occurs, the governor appoints an interim replacement (must be from the same party as the outgoing senator and meet residency/registration rules). A special election is then held to fill the remainder of the term, scheduled to coincide with the next available regularly scheduled statewide primary and general elections.
