Had my first try today. They have a few here in my area in Texas.

Would like other folks opinion!

Plan to since it's close-ish to home, but today was opening day I believe, so will give it some time before I go.

We are mostly amped that it's 24-hours. Not a lot of option before lunchtime that isn't strictly breakfast food.

Wow, 10 years ago I'd have been glad it's 24-hours too, but for the late night aspect. Not 8am tacos.

Went today here in Texas, tried the Queso and Street Corn. Didn’t try a Taco.
Please let us know what you find. Thanks.

What is your opinion? Weird thread to start when you went to a taco place and didn't order a taco.

I intent to try it, but I'm not a fan of an over dressed taco. I just do not want mac and cheese on one or sawmill gravy on another.

Not really, I ordered Queso and The Street Corn. Didn’t have an urge for a Taco.

My opinion. Both were not very good. Just wanted others opinion. I really don’t like to bash a place.
Queso and Street Corn are two of the easiest to prepare.

Guess I was expecting a little more.

I know what you mean. I like all the stuff they put in those types of tacos individually, but I don't know that I need it to go into a tortilla for me to enjoy it.

I don't get the deal with so many places using mac and cheese in the place of cheese on things. Our Mom's had "mac and cheese" as their only cheese fry option for a while until they finally changed to traditional. I've seen places with it on burgers too.

Fuego's menu looks like some traditional tacos mixed in with the untraditional ones. I saw some reviews/videos, and they seem to be massive with some people (women, lol) saying 1 is all they can eat.

You can say you didn’t like the meal without bashing the place.

I stopped by the Baton Rouge location today and ordered the chicken burrito bowl. It was a generous portion and really good. Even with it being opening day, there wasn’t a line. They mentioned the menu is limited for now but will expand soon. I’ll definitely be back — next time I’m trying the tacos. Would definitely recommend!

I've tried it once since they opened in Fayetteville. My impression: it was tasty, but something about the way it was put together just sort of screamed "sloppy drunk food."

Went for lunch yesterday with my daughter. Line wasn't too bad, but the kitchen was in the weeds. Took almost 25 minutes to get food. We were fine out on the patio, but had we been in a hurry, it would have been frustrating.

Tacos are indeed very large with lots of food in them. I ordered two tacos, El Presidente (Char-flamed chicken, bacon, fried avocado, pico de gallo, jack cheese, chipotle ranch) and Dr Pepper Cowboy (Smoked brisket, grilled onions, Dr Pepper BBQ sauce, chipotle cream corn, jack cheese). I enjoyed the chicken quite a bit. Very flavorful and juicy. Could have done without the fried avocado. Brisket was very good, but there seemed to be a lot going on with that taco.

Daughter got chicken quesadillas and again the chicken was outstanding.

I'd go back, but will probably wait until it's slowed down a little.
