I think so. I don't live in Baton Rouge, so it's nice to know I can always listen to a basketball or baseball game. The games are also archived, so if for some reason you can't watch or listen real time, you have a built-in TIVO.

well I can listen to it on the radio. How much live video do they broadcast?

Plus, you get video for almost all of the baseball games. It's not quality production, but video is video.

isn't discussing methods of listening to LSU sports events strictly forbidden on the Rant?

Oh well, I guess I'll risk it...I haven't been able to listen to a game in the GeauxZone is several weeks. It appears that the program is tagged as a video event and I only have the audio subscription. I've sent several emails but never get a response. I'm emailing the Athletic Department tomorrow.

I guess the ustream thing got quashed yesterday...I listened to the early part of the game but couldn't get in later when I had to switch computers.

Like someone said when you live out of state I would say yes...I loved it when I lived in Vegas could get most of the baseball games with video..yes sometimes it fricks up and yesterday the replay thing was a pain in the arse but it was nice knowing I always had away to listen to LSU..not bad for 100 bucks

It used to be--lots of video, lots of extras, plus all the audio broadcasts of away games. I would know nothing about gymnastics without the GeauxZone.

I haven't seen a basketball game on there in weeks. All the Lady Tigers' games used to be in video. I want a rebate. I also now have to log in twice for everything.

And the baseball audio was weird yesterday--every highlight had both the highlight audio and the live audio.

That said, I'm not unsubscribing. I can't listen to the CBS guys butcher us during football.

I had been having trouble receiving GZ. Phoned LSU athletic department, and finally wound up speaking to someone in Florida. The technician could never get Firefox ro work either. We then went to IE, and after some maneuvering it finally worked. Tried it on IE again yesterday, and it didn't work again. The athletic department definitely needs to get someone else to run this service. $100 down the drain.

It's not worth it, I promise you. You will get so aggravated with it.

I'm about to cancel. I've had it for over a year, and they used to show video for almost every game that was not on tv. Now, basketball for example, they stopped putting up video once conference play started.

I travel out of state a lot and no its not worth it, if flat out sucks...very unreliable, I cancelled by subscription to it several days after I got it after it failed to provide the games I was paying for...

It usually works for me. I live out of state and get the monthly plan just to listen/watch the baseball games.

Looks like they worked out the kinks from yesterday. Everytime they would show a replay, the audio from the video would play over the live audio. Annoying as shite. Its fixed now, and is a lot more enjoyable.

I live in the frozen Yankee wasteland and have broadband, it works fine and is usually the only way to go. During football season it isn't worth it because LSU plays on TV so much anyhow. For anything else it's always worked fine for me.

Saw in your signature the NC years and wondering, who awarded us the NFC in 1959?
I thought it was 7?

I subscribed for over 2 years, and the broadcast worked properly barely half the time.

$5/month wasn't a bad deal, but the service was awful.
