11 games in 16 days is a tall task. Yes he wants all these games to get guys looks and to see who can play, but it’s obvious the compressed schedule is taking a toll. They’re just burned out and going through the motions out there

It’s a long game. You lose a game in the regional or Omaha and you’re very much having to rely on some of these guys. This is to get a try out of who that may be.

Two topics on same thing.

Jay said he wanted this and it would be different.

The newness of the season has certainly worn off.

I’m really thinking these players need a break as well. They are playing like they are exhausted and look like they are ready for the game to end before it even begins.

Bet you said this exact same thing last year when Northwestern State run ruled LSU. Shut up clown.

Yes, Monday and Tuesday games not necessary. Keep weekend game on weekends and mid-week games on Wednesday’s. Otherwise, it’s kills pitching. BTW, both losses were to much weaker teams.

Results of these games mean nothing in the long run. These are more or less preseason scrimmages vs different teams

If this better preps us for the gauntlet of the SEC play and especially the postseason, who cares if we lose a few midweeks.

If you want to play a 56 game regular season yes some 5 games weeks will.be necessary

Good news is its 4 game weeks max once SEC play starts

It’s the point of doing it. He knows itgey will have some adversity. The season is very structured for 4 months and you get to post season and it’s chaotic. He is trying to give them a taste of the chaos to see how they handle it.
