Are you that naive to believe that these are just one and done operations?
Even after we liberated Kuwait, we were in Iraq a decade later. And we’re still not fully withdrawn from that country, despite “leaving” in 2011. No, we will be involved in Iran and Venezuela for decades now.

Exactly. The Cheney's and their ilk don’t like short, quick strikes that just get the job done. They want long, protracted wars with boots on the ground (with thousands killed) so that they can get trillions out to their MIC donors while they siphon off kickbacks to make themselves multimillionaires.

We have no large troop deployments in either country.
Let me know when that changes.
