Star Trek, like Star Wars, is beyond saving because both have been milked to death

If they can nail the last two seasons of SNW it at least gives a jumping off point, if they follow in it's same likeness.

Id wager we see at least 3 more star wars theatrical releases. I dont think we'll ever see another star trek theatrical release.

I wish they would stop. Let there be a break of ten year or so years. Then, do somthing.
Star Trek has been done to death.
They ruined Star Trek like Disney with Star Wars.

If we do, it better not be another from the Lensflariverse.

If they greenlight the Scott Bakula as first Federation president series it can be saved.

Scott Bakula has discussed returning to Star Trek in a proposed, non-greenlit series titled Star Trek: United, featuring his Enterprise character Jonathan Archer as the President of the United Federation of Planets. Developed with writer Michael Sussman, this potential show would focus on the early Federation, diplomacy, and the Romulan War.

Save it? Season 3 of Picard and SNW are great IMO but this new Academy show is beyond bad, to the point where it has to be questioned if it’s this bad on purpose.

I watched the latest Academy because so many said it was like classic trek. It wasn't.
I do not like nor care for Sam.

SNW is honestly the only one even close to classic Trek.

Yeah but then they have the musical episode and the puppet episode.

Since Skydance took over Paramount I'm sure they'll be taking close look at their IP's.
Alex Kutrtzman, Star Trek's current showrunner, has his contract expire this year. If he gets renewed then we'll know the Trek is dead because this guy is worse than JJ Abrhams.
