Question for the handful of dems on this board. What is your reaction to this murder?

The reason I ask is because this seems like an entirely preventable death, unlike most murders which can’t be solved via policy.

Why, in your view, shouldn’t there be a political price to pay for this?

quote:

BREAKING: The man with 30 prior arrests, including for rape and malicious wounding, who stabbed 41-year-old Stephanie Minter to death at a Fairfax, VA bus stop earlier this week is an illegal alien from Sierra Leone, who entered the U.S. illegally in 2012 and has a final order of removal dating back to 2020.

LINK

It’s a policy failure on 2 fronts:

1) someone with 30 prior arrests is not in prison for life

2) someone with a deportation order from 2020 is somehow still here.

Does it not bother you at least a little bit that the party you vote for has elected officials either outright enacting these policies and/or are doing nothing to repeal them?

Murder is sad. Preventable murder is enraging.

This was a preventable murder.

theres got to be a better place to ask this question if you are actually looking to speak in good faith with people who vote democrat. Is there any here? like two?

Which piece of you is talking? Your head or heart? Because I know Trump broke both.

Three strikes laws work. It would have saved this woman.

4 prior stabbings, including 1 conviction with a short prison sentence. How he wasn’t deported immediately upon release from prison is inexcusable.

Statistically speaking; how many on your list are registered sex offenders?

There's way more than two of them on here. They just refuse to answer substantive questions about the problems caused by the shitty policies they support.

A democrat is incapable of having a good faith conversation anywhere, and the ones here are no better than any of the others

I wish the Republican party would take a hard look at parole boards, district attorneys, and elected judges.

Everytime somebody murders, rapes, robs, or assaults needs a quick investigation to see their past criminal history to see if they've slipped through the crack due to incompetent criminal control.

If more prisons are needed to keep the population safe, then build them.
