He needs to learn to stretch out a little. That dribbler that got under Evans glove was too close. He could have stretched out at least a foot.

People last year would've hated on Jared Jones for this but will let Yorke slide by because he's fat and lovable.

OP has a valid point. We have good coaches. I imagine they see the same thing, and look for more consistent stretches from Yorke going forward.

There is nothing wrong with Yorke’s “defense.” He’s not Tre Morgan but who is? He is solid defensively.

The only York at LSU I can think of is Cade York and he doesn't play defense, he was a kicker.

I played ball with a fluffy first baseman, he could do a full split in his stretch. It was a sight to behold, saved many a throw with that big man split.
