Watch ESPN app

On my iphone, why does it tell me user must re authenticate when i try to watch something. Just started doing this a few weeks ago. I've logged in and out of TV provider, reset app, phone, etc...

Re-login is usually the answer - to the service that offers the stream.

You may need to clear cache depending on the phone you are using. But I’m an old man just read about that on here one time.

Having the same issues. Have to login every time.

Because if you pay for Disney+ bundle or ESPN separately you don’t need to log into a tv provider. Just use your log in info for the specific app you pay for.
If you don’t pay for any of those and only use your TV provider that’s another issue. I don’t pay for TV anymore because every service I had would always have some “negotiation” period and blackout ESPN or other channels for awhile and I got tired of it. That could be the issue, check with your provider. Or try clearing your cache, deleting the app and reinstalling.
Try ESPN app support. But Goodluck with that.

Could be the app needs updating. Go to Playstore or App Store, search ESPN then look for an Update button.

Yep. It started this crap recently. Have to reauthenticate every fricking time.

Recently started doing the "this channel is not part of your TV package" shite to me. Now every single time I have to logout of my provider and login again. I can't wait until AI replaces the assholes working at ESPN.
