an all english semi-final is not unrealistic i think.

The only interesting thing about City-Madrid this time is the fact that neither are at the peak of their powers. Pretty much a coin flip.

Usually it seems City comes in rolling to fall to Madrid's UCL aura

Newcastle already played Barca in the league phase.. they were competitive but no way they get past them in a knockout scenario.

I don't think I've ever seen one side so heavily weighted compared to the other

Nah it happens every year, but usually UEFA waits to rig the Quarterfinals and on with bigger clubs on one side
