The crime being measured is low, but they don’t measure the majority of it.

I live in North Kenner and I can verify this. Grocery stores, gas stations, and traffic has dropped immensely.

I would imagine that the illegals contributed to the crime rate some, but the locals were holding down the fort in that regard pretty well on their own. I doubt that it's dropped drastically.

The violent crime rate in New Orleans hit a 50 year low in 2025. If the terrorist attack would have occurred 45 minuets earlier, another 10% reduction in murders.

Understand what’s about to happen.
The largest deportation of illegals in history, is about to take place.
We suffered an “invasion,” that was paid for and coordinated by an enemy insurgency within our own government.

DOGE is working with Bessent, to follow the money and track down the illegals. They are cutting off their government benefits, and preventing their cross border payments. They will now use that same data to completely cut off illegals from our banking system.
Trump is simply enforcing the laws. And guess what? By FORCING the banks to comply and no longer service illegals in this country, it’s going to then lead to the enforcement of this LAW too:
“8 U.S. Code § 1324a makes it unlawful for any person or entity to knowingly hire, recruit, or refer for a fee an individual who is not authorized to work in the U.S.
It is also illegal to continue employing someone after learning they are unauthorized to work.”
The smart ones are self deporting. The rest are in for a very rude awakening.
Trump is completely ENDING illegal immigration in this country and setting an example for the rest of the world to do the same.
