Give MM credit. If nothing else, he has set the bar for "success" so low that ANY coach that follows is virtually guaranteed to have immediate "success"

Last night was a massive win. It put LSU (via tiebreakers) firmly in 14th place...setting up a huge game on Saturday with Oklahoma in a battle for 13th place.
LSU isn't mathematically eliminated from the 12th place prize. But it's going to take a one of those late runs that will be talked about for decades to get there.

You can dog this coach and /or this team but they are still playing really hard and competing! John Wooden couldn’t lead this bunch to an SEC championship- they just need better players !

MM had $10 million to build his roster, if the talent is that bad, then he should be fired for roster management and talent evaluation deficiencies.
There is also a huge gap between winning the league and just being competitive in the league. Less than 20 wins in 4 years is not competitive. He has almost twice as many double digit losses as he does conference wins.
The team LSU put on the court last night was more talented than Ole Miss.
