Rumor going around DC is if we don’t interview in Iran - Israel will nuke them.

Why would Israel even need to nuke them? I believe they could do alot of damage with conventional weapons. This doesnt make sense at all.

Why do people think we support Israel so fully?
This is not a new situation. They've been clear from the 60's that they would use them on anyone that needed it and all the major capitols they perceived to have plotted against them. Samson Option or some thing. They have us over a barrel.
If they ever actually fear someone, that one is going to get nuked because Israel is too small a target. If Iran gets nukes, they'll be able to annihilate Israel. Israel will not allow that. So obviously either we deal with Iran or they're getting nuked. Because Israel can't do the kind of damage we can conventionally and they'll be getting pounded in their cities from missiles. Many of which are going to make it.
Just the way it is. Do you want to take out the mullahs and Iran's ability to make a nuke or do you want to see Iran get nuked and then throw the dice on what happens next? Because that's the only two options now. They've played this too masterfully.

-If we do anything there it goes against his "no new war" policy. Spare me the "it's just strikes" shite. I didn't give Obama that courtesy in syria, I won't give it to trump here.

Call their bluff. If they nuke Iran, at least one other nation will nuke Israel. Tell them to pound sand. Literally.
The real danger is that if Israel feels it's on the verge of annihilation, it will try to take down other nations with it. Can't live as hostages. Call their bluff. If Israel wants to play these types of games, they all lead to Israel disappearing from the map. Let them be idiots.

I'm kind of here right now. Israel is plenty well developed to take care of themselves at this point. If they are stupid enough to use nukes against fricking sand people, they can deal with the international reprecutions from that.

I'm confused by the downvotes. Do you think I don't support Israel because I point out the actual strategic situation? They have all the reason in the world to position themselves for maximum survivability. We are the golem. If I was them I'd do the same thing.
But we need to figure out a way to get out from under their thumb. Peacefully. With us not having to pay for their defense. Killing the Islamist Regime in Iran would go a long way towards that. But don't delude yourself about what they can do. They can trigger global nuclear war any time they feel like they're going to die. And they absolutely would.
