Yes, it's real. McDonald's Germany ran a digital billboard campaign for Ramadan using sun-synced tech: empty packaging (no food shown) during daytime fasting hours, then full meals appear exactly at sunset/iftar. It's kinda why I'd love to see a lot more muslims go to Minneapolis or Portland. Get about 40% muslims in those populations and we get to eat popcorn and watch as those woke white cultists get absolutely destroyed. Woke vs Islam, I think Islam easily wins.

I’m so glad I got to live in Europe when each country had their own identity.
When the fist McDonalds came to Kaiserslautern, we camped out over night to be one of the first in line. They had beer in a wax paper cup.

I think if I were Muslim, this ad would piss me off more than anything.
During the day while I'm fasting I get to see ads with empty fry boxes that are like "Abu Bakr, Fritz ate all the fries none left for you. SORRY NOT SORRY"
And then when it's time to break fast and enjoy a meal in solidarity with others Muslims who have been fasting it's like "frick THE IFTAR come have a McRib and Mickey Ds"
