Your season ticket reps sales pitch

"Zion stayed healthy"
"Trey is still Trey"
"DJM is the guard we needed"
"Fears and Queen year 2"
"Yves year 3"
"And did we mention how well Bey played?"

This sounds about right. You even left off Poole/ Herb/ Hawk to give us that extra $60mil to work with. All we have to do is add Jaylen Brown and we are good. Cake walk.

I will say that this team should be better than it is. IF Fears and Queen take the next step, we dump Poole and perhaps Murray becomes our closer, we are not a terrible team ... not really good, but not terrible.

We need to take Poole/ Herb and turn them into a stud SG/ C.

Obviously Jaylen Brown would be awesome and slightly realistic but people would freak for what we'd spend.

KAT would be an interesting option.

We can take back up to $61mil in a trade with Poole/ Herb. So anyone in the NBA.

Did I miss something? Why is Jaylen Brown slightly realistic?

Boston is strapped from the tax and its been a rumor they are willing to listen to offers.

Other than trading a superstar for superstar a package of Herb/ Missi/ Poole is pretty strong for any "available" player once you include picks.

Slightly realistic meaning its not impossible and would cost us alot. That's pretty much it.

That's why I included KAT who would cost us a good bit less.

We are a terrible team. Fully healthy we are terrible. Plus DJM and minus Poole =/= a play in team. It's still a bottom 5 team as currently constructed. Insult to injury we have no pick in a loaded draft. I know that's beating a dead horse but when you're talking about running it back, that doesn't help the case to do so.

Sell, sell, sell, and sell twice on Sunday. The longer we wait to blow this up, the farther out our chances of becoming a decent team become.

This offseason will be the perfect time to trade Zion, his stock is probably higher than we think given he's stayed relatively healthy this year.

These were two of the options I mentioned months ago of players on bad contracts that were realistic of obtaining. If those teams decided they didn’t want to pay them long term.

We control our number 1 pick next year?

Run it back and suck. Hope the Bucks suck too. Pray 1 of those balls wins the lottery.

Well that should be simple. What team isn't salivating over getting Jordan Poole.

Running it back might be the only option.

1. Zion IS going to play enough games to guarantee most of his contract for next season. Since everyone knows his motivation for playing through it this season is to guarantee that money, he is likely unmovable.

2. NO ONE is touching Poole unless the Pelicans take back an even worse contract or attach some assets. I'd rather keep the assets and let him expire at the end of the year.

3. Murray can only be moved if he absolutely balls out for the rest of the season.

That's about 108 million in salary they will have to give up assets to move. They can move Trey, Herb, and/or Bey and that's about it. But moving Bey's 6 mil salary would be insane and Trey is also a good value. So that really leaves Herb and maybe Messi as the only guys that they can and should consider moving on from.
