Took his own life at 71 from what it sounds like.

I just don’t understand why so many Hollywood actors who’ve made millions of dollars over the course of careers would even consider something like that. This guy came from a wealthy family and had a great career. Why?

If you haven’t seen The Cowboys with John Wayne and music by John Williams, find it.

Damn, RIP.

Just heard. Wow. Even the nerds are dying.

He'll always be Pvt. Zab to me, though.

Auto-erotic asphyxiation? We should all strive to go out that way.

He had Bipolar Disorder. If it was Bipolar I, that comes with some really manic highs (usually what gets someone diagnosed in hospitalization) and really depressive lows.

It's possible to be wealthy and miserable. Money isn't the solution to all problems or the key to happiness.

It’s actually the cause of a lot of them.

He was 30 yrs old when that movie came out. So 29 when filming. Most of the other actors were 29/30 as well. Playing characters who were 18.

Anthony Edwards was 22 so not that far. The actor playing Wormser was 12 when it came out. Julia Montgomery was 24.

RIP Lewis.
