Came across photos from the MBB game against the Vols. The PMAC was rocking and the game was a classic. Bring those days back!!!!

Waters was out that day. I believe some local kid that we made a "strong arse" offer to had a great game.

It's just photos of CWW addressing the crowd after the game and I know those trigger some folks on here. I didn't want to make this about him.

That 2019 team was awesome. Definitely Final Four caliber, just got stuck in a very hard region in the NCAA Tournament.

Tough region, and Wade couldn't coach. I think even with Wade we lose to Sparty, though.

Michigan State played great that entire tournament. I agree that we probably lose even if Wade coaches.

Was at that great game; then made back to NOLA to see AD led Pelican beat LaBron, Ball, Ingram etc. led Lakers!

That's the last MBB game I went to. Damn that was a good time and way too long between rowdy environments.

Izzo is a great March coach. I agree, LSU probably wasn't winning that game even with Wade. LSU's defense wasn't great that season (though much, much better than the next two seasons) and it wasn't going to be able to hold up vs. MSU. The sad thing is the No. 1 see in the bracket, Duke, was vulnerable. They barely escaped upsets in the second round and sweet 16 before MSU knocked them out.
That 2019 game was a great environment. Especially considering it was an 11:00 am tip off. I had pretty much resigned the game to a loss when news broke that Waters was out. Yet, Smart, bolstered by the home crowd, rose to the occasions.
The irony was who was party of the broadcast team for ESPN:
Less than a month later he was telling everyone how horrible Wade was...while totally ignoring the REALITY that his favorite coaches had been doing what Wade was doing, at a much higher level, for decades.

Unfortunately for 2019 Wade didn't coach the NCAA Tournament games. We would've gone Final Four if'n he be sidecourt that tourney. Wade was the theme that year, and the next three as well.
