They’ve consistently done the opposite of what they’ve said. And no one said non violent illegals wouldn’t be deported, just that they wouldn’t be prioritized.

If you mean by "liberals", Democrats, it is because they have no morals. They don't really care if the illegal has committed a crime or not, but they have a feeble understanding that people with morals care, and that gives them an excuse to pretend to care and voice their "outrage" because thats what they are instructed to do.

It's come to my attention that we actually have a database that has the names, criminal history, and length of time all illegal immigrants have been in the country, this is how we know that the vast majority of illegal immigrants are abuelas that have been in the country for over 20 years and haven't so much as looked at somebody cross wise.

You could gather a group of Tren members on a stage, have them murder and eat a baby after raping it, televise it nationwide, and progressives would still defend them against being deported.
