I had no idea Muslims thought so highly of Jesus and Mary

Went down a rabbit hole since I’m sick and nothing better to do. They look at him as a high prophet and revere Mary. I didn’t realize they believed Moses and Noah and others existed also. I’m Christian but have been blissfully unaware Muslims thought highly of Jesus. I always assumed they either didn’t believe he existed or hated him.

They think so highly of him that many Muslims want to kill his followers.

Your next step will be to say they're all related.

Most of the Quran is copied from the old and new testament. The rest is "edits" by Allah that came down when their prophet wanted to do hoodrat things like a marry a toddler.

Yea I don’t get why they are like that. But obviously by my thread, I have very little knowledge about Muslims.

The Crusades certainly didn't help.

That’s not really accurate. The Quran is written to be a companion to the existing Bible. It heavily references existing passages as existing passages. The entire premise of the Quran is that God is annoyed that humans managed to frick up his revelation again, so now he’s going to lay out word for word rules, and a lot of that is “clarifying” Bible passages.

The Jesus they revere is not the same as the Jesus in the Gospels. They created a different person and then decided to hate the people that believed in the real Jesus.
But they also tell people of the gospel, ie Christians, to follow the Gospels. It's a troll religion hastily put together by pedofile blood lusters.

This is what surprised me. I had no idea they had anything to do with Jesus.

I of course disagree with them on this but interesting to note

The Muslim invasions of Europe certainly didn’t help.

The crusades helped save humanity from the scourge of Islam that had been taking over Christendom since it started a few hundred years before.
Tell me you don't believe the crusades were preemptive.

If you study their eschatology, they believe Jesus returns and establishes Sharia.
In Islamic eschatology, Jesus (Isa al-Maseeh) is a central figure who will return in the end times to defeat the false messiah (Al-Dajjal), destroy the cross, and restore justice as a follower of Prophet Muhammad's teachings. He is not divine but a revered prophet who will bring peace for several years.
The Catholic Thing +3
Key Aspects of Jesus in Islamic End Times:
The Return: Jesus will descend from heaven, often described as appearing in Damascus, to fight the Antichrist (Ad-Dajjal).Defeating the Antichrist: Jesus will confront the Dajjal—who will claim to be the Messiah—and kill him.Restoring Truth: Upon his return, Jesus will rule by Islamic law, confirm he was never the Son of God, and break the crosses (meaning the end of Christianity in its current form).Role in Society: He will live for a period, marry, and die, being buried in a prepared grave.Connection to the Mahdi: Jesus will return while the Mahdi (a guided leader) is preparing to fight, and Jesus will act as a leader, often praying behind the Mahdi to show he is following Islam.Finality: His return is a major sign of the Day of Judgment.

The Islamic view contrasts with Christian theology, as he returns to affirm his role as a human messenger of Allah, not as the divine Savior.

This is a good interview with a Christian scholar of Islam, from a couple weeks ago. Addresses a lot of the issues raised in this thread.
