The same reason New Orleans had a woke CA carpetbagger Democrat mayor. The vast majority of people don't pay attention, they just push the button/ pull the lever/ check the box for their "team".

You wouldn't believe how close KS is to tipping purple with all the fraud and corruption going on. There has been no public pushback on it either outside of a few schoolboard elections. It is the epicenter of middle class people who dont want to take a risk to lose what they have.

Not sure you can apply what happens in the city of New Orleans to the entire state of Kansas.
New Orleans is 54% black. Kansas is 5.4% black and high teens for hispanic. I understand the reality that a majority black city votes in liberal democrats pretty much everywhere. A state that is mid 70% white...that gets a little harder to understand.
