Establishment Democrats Undermining Jasmine's Campaign

They know they lose the General if Crockett wins, the party of woman and blacks doesn't want a black woman winning the primary in Texas .
A new Emerson College Polling/Nexstar Media poll of the 2026 elections in Texas finds Rep. James Talarico leading the Democratic Primary for US Senate with 47%, followed by Rep. Jasmine Crockett at 38%
Just when you thought Democrats might be on track to claw back the U.S. Senate next year, they decided it would be much more exciting to fling themselves head first into a cactus.
“Late Show” host Stephen Colbert is furious that CBS decided not to air an interview he did with Texas representative James Talarico (D) due to “equal time” laws, which require broadcast networks and radio stations to give equal time to all candidates in an election.

They now who she is, right along with AOC, that's the best they can do.

No democrat is going to win a statewide race in Texas for a long time.

Pretending like it was forbidden garnered more attention than had it aired. This is an old play, so don't act like we haven't seen it before.

Democrats have a problem of a stale message. Everything racist, and all the phobics are long in the tooth.

1000%
Democrats have a wet dream about taking back Texas. And they tell themselves a collection of lies in the hope of wishcasting it into being. First it was demographics...we'll take Texas when the Hispanic population hits 30+%. Then it was the cool Beto. Now it's this fake Jesus freak.
The irony of establishment Dems casting aside a black woman for a white guy on the thin hope of winning a senate seat in a state that hasn't seen a Democrat win a state-wide election in over 30 years can't possibly be lost on anyone.
Colbert tried to skirt the rules of the FCC to "do his bit" and got checked by corporate. Now he's trying to play some kind of victim.
Old play, indeed.

Weren't even the establishment Democrats behind her running in Texas?

I hope Republicans are doing somethi g to help Jasmine. Democrats did that shite in 2022 by running (not so) stealth campaigns against better Republican candidates

I think you're wrong here boss. We have some paltry candidates with mixed messaging.
Wesly Hunt getting hammered
Chip Roy running for TX AG
Paxton, who I like but is probably a dbag, has his own issues with his affairs and it's getting blasted on commercials
Might be an opening for a dem to get in.
