Victory lap is Moscona still talking about Jake Brown not being an everyday player last year.
Use of the word Downside was a weak attempt at sarcasm.

Agreed. I failed to realize the average attention span has been cut in half over the last decade. People saw the word Downside, and their inner rage response kicked in.
