- The post features Michael Jordan's jubilant reaction—"I can't even believe it"—to Tyler Reddick's dramatic final-lap victory in the 2026 Daytona 500, securing Jordan's 23XI Racing its first win in NASCAR's marquee event after five seasons.
- Reddick, driving the No. 45 Toyota, claimed his ninth career Cup Series triumph amid chaos that eliminated contenders like Denny Hamlin and Christopher Bell, highlighting Daytona's restrictor-plate racing risks where leaders often crash out.
- This milestone extends Jordan's championship pedigree from six NBA rings to NASCAR ownership success, potentially elevating 23XI's sponsorship appeal and driver market value in a competitive field.

5 years and already won. That’s impressive. His business ventures are almost always successful

Doesn’t Denny Hamlin have Daytona wins already?

Yes but he drives for Joe Gibbs and not his own team. All his wins have come in the #11 owned by JGR.

This is 23XI's first Daytona 500 win as an organization.

So if it comes down to it and he and Riddick are one-two coming to the line... does he back off to give his team a win or force his teams driver to back off to give him a win?

Not sure how many people know this little nuget about MJ, but baseball was his real pasion. Rumor has it his first “retirment” was an agreement between him and the comish to keep from tarnishing his reputation for gambling! He was going to be suspended but agreed to give pro baseball a try as a way to avoid getting in trouble. Pretty crazy, I know, just something I’ve heard whisperd about over the years

so today's race finish was the first NASCAR finish I've watched in 6-7 yrs.

in years past if you had a fiasco on the final lap like you did today, the announcers would have gone ape. today it was just so matter of fact.

Yeah, why doesn't he win immediately at everything he does?

I thought this guys was supposed to be "The GOAT".

The Hornets sucked under him and so does his motorcycle race team, his offshore fishing team, the Jordan brand, Gatorade, Nike, McDonalds, Chevrolet. All he seems to do is pick losers, and suck at making money.

He’s not going to do either. He’s going to try to win and he would expect Reddick to do the same.

23XI Racing was, but the lawsuit was settled in December.
