Clemson gifted the Army baseball team an American flag made out of bats that reads:

My one complaint with the Jay Johnson era has been the elimination of opening weekend against Army and AF every other year.

Seems like a atention grab for Clemson. Seems disonest. Atleast we have bee doing that for well over a decade! Clemson just wants to be us so bad!

It was becoming an every other year tradition at the end of his tenure. 2017, 2019, and 2021. I wish Jay would have continued it. How cool would it have been to see Skenes pitch against his former teammates in 2023.

Clemson has a strong ROTC program. It was Clemson A&M back in the day.
Football does a military day every year. That is when they wear purple. salute to the purple heart recipients. The halftime show is always terrific.
But sure it is all about you.
