Ronnie "Jumbo" Rantz was pushing 275.
Other source said 245 when at LSU

For that size, he's pretty nimble on the bag

i don't care if he weighs 995 lbs, if he can continue to contribute in as many ways as he did today… we will need people to hit on both sides, in front and back, just to get him some decent pitches… otherwise he will just be walked again and again… with good hitters behind him, and hitters on base in front of him, ---THEY WILL HAVE TO PITCH TO HIM--- i can see opposing pitchers refusing to go out there… for their own safety and their own sanity… although… i can see him being walked even with the bases loaded… give up 1 run instead of a very possible 4 runs… and for someone any near his size, he runs pretty well… so it is going to be fun to watch this year!!…

Matt Clark's left thigh alone may have been 235.
He hit a breaking ball at Lexington into space right after the pbp announcer said he has trouble with the curve
BOOM 235lbs lol

If he keeps mashing, no one will care.
It is funny that we talked shite about John Pearson last year and Yorke makes look slim.
On that topic- Pearson dropped a few this offseason while keeping the pop in the bat. He had a nice driven hit when he got a shot today.

They were comparing him to John Kruk on radio today, then they looked it up and Kruk "only" weighed around 250...so Yorke has him beat by a good bit.

I refuse to believe this, Clark was an absolute unit.

Matt Clarke with an Easton Stealth in his hands was a thing of beauty.
Clay Dirks was an LSU thick boy as well.

He looks like he ate 5 CPM small ball players in one sitting.
