The Sheriff handling the Guthrie case blocking the FBI from evidence.

Fox is reporting this. This case will never get solved and brought to conclusion if this moron stays in charge of this case.

Yeah but he'll also get the blame if they are too late and she dies.
In high profile cases it's always best to pass the buck up.. so the higher ups get the blame if shite goes wrong. And if shite goes right, ya can still shamelessly take credit.

Well, in all fairness, the FBI are the ones who have refused to prosecute Hunter Biden with his laptop, told the American people Trump was a Russian asset, refused to arrest anyone who’s raped anyone in the pizza gate and or Epstein email releases. All of this regardless as to who appointed them and or what political parties they belong to, Republican or democrat.
At this point, unless this guy does something evil he has far more integrity than anyone in the FBI.
I’m going to assume he actually wants to catch and prosecute the people involved in this while the FBI will just cover it up, as is par for the course for them.

Right. And the liklihood of an 84 year old woman being found alive after two weeks is? Thankfully we got a "breaking" clue in video and dna of the perp 11 days into the abduction... This has fubar written all over it.

Not really clear. They use a private lab in that county somewhere in Florida. They found DNA evidence and a glove inside the woman’s house. Some speculation that the Sheriff’s office might have sent it off to the lab before the FBI came into the case and the Sheriff didn’t tell them they had this until very recently.
What is wild is the FBI will end up with the results anyway. The private lab in Florida can’t run any results through the FBI’s system and data base. So they have to process in Florida then send the stuff up to Virginia to be ran the FBI database for any possible matches. That will take double the time than just giving it to the FBI in the first place. It’s not like a woman’s life is on the line or anything.

The FBI crime lab isn’t nearly as good as people are led to believe. They’ve even lost accreditation before. There are many other crime labs that are as good or much better out there.
Let’s not forget that the FBI has been a shite show for a number of years. I sure the crime lab isn’t nearly no exception.

The results can’t be accessed at the private lab though. The results will have to be taken to Virginia and ran through the FBI database. Obviously time is of the essence. Should this ever become a federal case I don’t know if the FBI would need to rerun the evidence or not. It would just made more sense for the FBI to do it just for speed.
