No, he is far worse. She made the tournament a couple of times. He will go down as one of the worst basketball coaches in the history of the SEC.

The combination of Archer (who depleted our talent level by not recruiting at all)) followed by Hallman, who was an absolutely idiotic coach was devastating to our football program for over a decade.

I think Nikki actually made the Sweet 16. She wasn’t terrible at first but got worse over time.

She actually was a good coach on game day. It was that pesky recruiting and filling out a team with SEC level players that she didn’t want to do.

Fargas made the NCAA tournament like 5-6 of the 10 seasons she was at LSU. Would matt mc16-60 go to a single NCAA tournament in 10 seasons?!!
And I say that as someone who couldn’t stand how lazy Fargas was recruiting. She was garbage. McMahon is in another universe of arse.

She was good here until she became Nikki Fargus. Nikki Caldwell was not to be messed with. Fargus seemed like she didn’t care about coaching anymore and got lazy

Fargas was good at making something out of nothing, but that was her fault riding her bike around town instead of actually recruiting. She and Trent Johnson were unquestionably the worst recruiters I’ve ever seen during my time as an LSU fan, but they aren’t the worst X’s and O’s in school history

Fargas was actually a good floor and practice HC. MM is NOT either of those. Nikki just did not recruit at a high level
