I thought I heard Moscona say it yesterday on the radio, but I was on the phone.

Moscona was just acting like he knew but basically hunt gave him his info
It’s pretty obvious from scrimmages who will get those starts
Who knows what order

Casan Evans, Cooper Moore, and William Schmidt is the likely opening weekend guys.
I'd say Jaden Noot, Cooper Williams, and Zack Cowan probably still in the discussion.
Marcos Paz and Raegan Ricken will probably take the William Schmidt approach from last season and start some midweeks with some spot work out of the bullpen on weekends.
Basically will have to look at the staff as a whole and not really treat any of them as starters that can get you through 7. Will be a lot of 5 inning outings and then another reliever trying to bridge the gap for 2-3 innings to get to someone like Sheerin, Guidry, or Fontenot to close the game.

He doesn't know he already quit on the team.

Seems like a good answer. If Schmidt takes that next step, this is a sold group. Cowan could be the 3rd starter, but I really like him as a reliever with starter talent.
Can't wait!

Jay announce his starting pitchers 2 days out? Get real

We’ll probably see the real rotation next weekend in Jacksonville.
My money is on Evans, Schmidt, & Cooper Moore

I could see cooper williams sliding into one of those spots too

I think for now I see him being used more like Griffin Herring was used 2 years ago. As you said though, I wouldn't be surprised if he takes one of the weekend spots at some point this season.
I think using him out of the bullpen gives Jay more options on how/when to use him. If he performs good enough to earn a starting spot they still have 4 other LH arms they can go to out of the pen with Plog and Santi Garcia being the best options.

I think he will. Jay's gonna want a lefty in there somewhere. Evans is nailed on for a spot. Moore is definitely in the rotation.
