What I don't understand about the Epstein file situation

As far as I am aware, the vast majority of the Epstein victims are still alive. A number of them were included in a Super Bowl commercial last night.
It seems like the current focus of the public on the epstein files is to find evidence against influential people other than Epstein. It's like a treasure trove of info where the internet sleuths feel like if they play detective hard enough, they can find something.
But what I have never understood, why can't these (alive & well) women come out on the record and make specific accusations against these other high profile men? Of the women that have come out, have they only accused Epstein and Maxwell of wrongdoing? It's like everyone is focused on these emails and the potential testimony of Maxwell when the victims should have all the answers as well.

Probably fearful of physical retaliation and for their safety. The same people who had money to abuse those women and cover up for years have the influence to make their lives pretty miserable (or worse).

I'm sure they've had their lives and their families' lives threatened if they spoke out with specific names. And who would believe them? It was also decades ago and they likely didn't even know who they were "meeting" with at the time - it's not like each "client" formally introduced themselves to the girls or even used their real names.

If you open up a history book you’ll see that global elitists doing perverted shite is a tale as old as time.

You are assuming they know the people who assaulted them.
Everyone wants the perps to be well known and famous but even Epstein wasn't particularly famous enough to be known outside of specific circles.

What a bizzare take. Slavery has existed for as long as humans existed but we don’t allow slavery bc we are civilized human beings. How is this any different?

All the evidence points to this being Epstein/Maxwell exclusively, or almost exclusively, but they won't get their moment by talking about that (because both were prosecuted, he's dead and she's convicted). This is similar to why Bad Bunny deleted his Instagram account. Attention/marketing.
If credible-direct evidence comes out against others, then we can re-evaluate, but it just seems/feelsl ike that's never coming.

Unless and until any concrete verifiable evidence is brought forward this is all just a gigantic Psyop directed at manipulating people emotions during elections.
If there were any concrete evidence of that with any major conservative figure we would have heard about it by now. 100%. The left would not negotiate on this if they could arrest andf bury major conservatives.
The Right, I believe would leverage any information they had to gain politically or financially.

The notes from the investigators tell a lot of the story. They don't have evidence or the sinister stories all come from whack jobs just wanting to tell stories.

I’m not condoning it. I don’t understand what obsessing about it does.
There’s nothing any of us can do about it. And powerful wealthy people doing weird shite shouldn’t be news to anyone. It’s gonna keep happening esp with the entertainment industry the way that it is.
Best we can do is steer our loved ones away from that world.
