Crowd size of approximately 250..

Arrambide’s injury caused me some concern. It illustrated a possible problem this season as to our lack of experienced depth at catcher.

Question…how is score 2-0 and two opposing pitchers give up 3 earned runs? Not being smartass, just trying to understand?

I would assume that got Jay's attention, too, considering he inserted Simpson in at catcher after that. Serna will be fine if called upon for more usage behind the plate, and Yamin has always seemed serviceable. Arrambide's exit did make me pause, though.

Did anyone see how Simpson looked at Catcher?

My mistake, the final score should read 4-0, 3er 1 unearned.

Simpson did not appear to struggle catching. If pressed into service, he seemed up to the task.

Assuming since visitors allows 0 runs, that Theophilus had 0 earned runs.

Yep. Zion looked good again. Good command and can flip a first strike breaking ball in there.

Milam thinks he’s Babe Ruth with his swing. I told those around me today I would rather him hit .320 with only 5-6 HR’s than .240 with 10-12.

Hope he proves me wrong and has his best year yet.

Has Yamin been catching this spring? It was odd today that Serna caught both halves of at least one inning, then Simpson came in.

I don’t know. I couldn’t find any stats for him @ LSU but somehow he seems serviceable to that guy

Yeah I think Milam tried to hit too much for power last year as well.

He needs to calm down and hit for average and the HRs will come.

Yamin can catch but is a big strikeout threat, can’t make consistent contact

I saw Serna last weekend have 3 passed balls in 4innings, and dropped another that was ball 4. He looked a lot like Arrambide last year
