New Dishwasher Recommendations

Can anyone recommend a good dishwasher that actually dries the dishes? I have a whirlpool now that came with the house and it's started leaking. Normally I would fix it, but it kind of sucks and never dries the dishes all the way so I'm going to replace it instead.
Standard size under counter.

No dishwasher made now will dry well without jet dry or similar.
My favorite brand is Bosch or Miele.
But kitchenaid is solid too. Though you don't like the whirlpool and KA is similar. (Same parent company).. the leak on your unit is likely from the actuator and can be fixed changing a $5 gasket.

The leak seems to be coming from the seal on the bottom left of the door. It's not a big one and always in that corner.

Not sure what you are allowing for budget, but I’d certainly consider Cove…

We have a KitchenAid and it has been great.

The house we bought last summer had a Bosch in it and I really like it. Cleans great and is extremely quiet. We have an open concept and I can’t hear the dishwasher running if I’m on the couch watching TV.

We've had Bosch in our last 3 houses and our 4 rental properties and they really cleaned the dishes well. The only drawback was they didn't dry the dishes very well and we use Rinse-Aid.
Fast forward to our current house and the builder only had Kitchen Aid. We've been really impressed with the cleaning and drying. Like crispy dry.
Unit is 18 months old - so far no problems.

I got a mid grade ($600-700) GE dishwasher a couple of years ago that dries reasonably well with JetDry and is very quiet. Biggest thing I hate about it is the top controls. I had no idea they would bother me as much as they do.
Really like the top rack for washing serving spoons and tumbler lids.
Side note- I just found out that I could move the middle rack down a notch to accommodate taller cups and wine glasses. That was a game changer!

I'm a big fan of top controls.. that's definitely not a complaint about the current Whirlpool

We have a Fisher Paykal double drawer dishwasher. Cleans great and also dries the dishes well.

I own a Bosch 800 Series. It's their top of the line model, and it dries dishes fairly well. If you purchase one, buy it through Costco.
My Bosch replaced a Fisher and Paykel Dishwasher Drawer. I had that for 11 years. I used the top dishwashing rack a lot. It's so much easier on your back.
Both are incredibly quiet, with the Bosch being slightly quieter (new vs. 11 year old -- FP may have caught up to Bosch in terms of quietness).
KitchenAid is another brand that rates out very well. They are owned by the Whirlpool Corporation.

Oh then replace the door gasket. Cheap and easy too.

We have the same one and yes it's great

I'm surprised it took that long.

We have the Bosch 300 model. Like it a lot.
You're drying issue might not be dishwasher related either. If someone of your dishes pool water than it's not going to dry

Ordering laundry room cabinets for a remodel and the designer mentioned Asko has become the dishwasher she has seen requested more frequently in kitchens. I will stick with Bosch have found them to be reliable and quiet.
