Dear Parents of Griffin Seniors,
This is an exciting time as we begin to move closer to graduation, and we want our seniors to enjoy their last few months at DTHS. However, we need your help in controlling some of the senior "antics" that often begin as we approach their final days. Many seniors are now participating in a game called "Senior Assassins." In this game, seniors must wear some type of beach item (goggles, swim fins, floaties, etc.) to remain "safe." Seniors who are caught by other players without these items are "out" of the game. While we appreciate the game and encourage seniors to have fun, we must keep in mind that the school building is not the place for these games. Seniors have begun bringing water guns to school and are using them on campus. They are trying to enter the building wearing large floatie devices. So we are asking that you remind your senior that school is still in session for them for the next three months, and the same behavior expectations remain in place for all students. Students who continue to wear/bring these items to school will be disciplined accordingly. We truly appreciate your help.
