Why don’t some ethnic groups enjoy the outdoors?

Was reading the other thread about Muslims in England not enjoying the countryside.
Reminds me of when I was in the 8th grade at Youree Drive Junior High. One morning before class I was sitting in the library with my good friend Tyrone (actual name), who had a huge Brothers Johnson afro and always wore a Brothers Johnson t-shirt, and I mentioned wanting to go hiking in the mountains in Colorado or someplace. Tyrone’s actual words to me:
“What is it with white people liking to go outside? White people always be wanting to hang out in nature and shite. My arse is staying inside where I can relax and listen to music.”
Is this true? Are only white people interested in nature? And if so, are we stupid? I remember seeing some Asians when I was in Banff. But come to think of it, they didn’t look like they were having a good time.
Btw, Strawberry Letter 23 was a hell of a damn song. Love it to this day.

Because a nature tour in China is teeming with whites. Louisiana education is startling. Some cultures freakin worship nature.

Black guy I went to high school with and his three sons regularly hunt. His wife (also Black) is big into herbal/holistic medicine and grows a full on garden, cans, etc.
A lot of our National Parks are attended by Asian tourists.
