just standing in the street shouting slogans at no one in particular, screaming into bullhorns, some lame arse no rhythm frick banging on a drum. You know it smells like armpits and assholes too.

Actually this was a time where all of the country was on the same page, in fact the whole world was behind us and supported us. It was an opportunity to bring everyone everywhere together but dammit Dubya put an end to that and it was back to business as usual.
