Do you require tickets to your shows?
Do you have security at your shows?
Do you allow anyone on the stage at your shows?
Can anyone go backstage or is that border secure?

Don’t forget that they’re some of the biggest tax cheats in the country also

Jello Biafra takes the gold medal. The Dead Kennedy's wrote "Government Flu" and then JB posted video after video of Covid vaccine propaganda.

Do they sell merch at those shows, or give their stuff away to anyone who wants it ?

Celebrities don’t understand that America is the Show, we are the performer and we have every right to keep people at different levels just as they do when performing.

Bruce Springsteen concerts, like other major arena and stadium events, typically feature robust security protocols to handle large crowds, often in the range of 20,000 to 80,000 attendees depending on the venue. These measures are standard for high-profile artists and have evolved over time, with heightened emphasis on bag restrictions, entry screenings, and crowd management since the early 2000s. For example, during his 2023-2024 tours, venues implemented intensive checks including bag searches and, in some cases, body checks or metal detectors to expedite entry while prioritizing safety. ? The exact level can vary by location (e.g., U.S. vs. Europe) and venue type, but overall, it’s considered comprehensive without being overly intrusive compared to airport security—though fans are advised to arrive early to avoid delays. ? ? In rare large-scale outdoor events, such as certain European shows impacted by weather or other factors, security personnel can number in the hundreds (e.g., up to 900 including police, volunteers, and first aid). ?
Entry and Screening Procedures
• Arrival and Gates: Doors usually open 90 minutes to 2 hours before the show starts. Fans should arrive well in advance to account for lines and security checks. Re-entry is generally not allowed once inside. ? ? Digital tickets are required, often via apps, and specific gates may be designated for general admission (GA) or floor/pit access. ?
• Screenings: All bags are screened, and some venues use metal detectors or require walking through them at every entrance. ? Body checks or pat-downs may occur, especially at international venues. ? Unlike airports, you typically don’t need to remove keys or change from pockets. ?
• GA Pit System: A unique aspect of Springsteen shows is the fan-managed lottery or roll-call system for prime GA spots near the stage. Fans often line up early (sometimes days in advance), with a volunteer organizer assigning numbers via informal check-ins (e.g., through Facebook groups). Venue security later issues wristbands based on this system, but it’s not always officially enforced, leading to occasional disputes. ? ? ? ? ? This helps with crowd control but relies on fan cooperation.
Bag Policies and Prohibited Items
To minimize risks, policies are strict—leave non-essentials at home or in your vehicle to speed up entry.
• Bags: Many venues prohibit backpacks, large purses, duffel bags, or coolers entirely. Allowed bags are typically small (e.g., max A4 size: about 8x11 inches, or 12x12x1 inches for purses/clutches/medical bags). All bags undergo screening. ? ? ? ? Some allow empty reusable water bottles under 500ml for refilling at stations. ?
• Common Prohibited Items: Weapons of any kind, fireworks/pyrotechnics (immediate ejection and potential police action), lasers, banners/signs (if allowed, must be small and non-obstructive, no political/commercial content), professional cameras (including large lenses or semi-pro 4K/8K models), video/audio recording devices, drones, selfie sticks, tablets/iPads/laptops, umbrellas, helmets, and outside alcohol/food (available for purchase inside). ? ? ? ? Sealed water bottles may be limited to one per person in some spots. ?
• Other Restrictions: No outside alcohol in surrounding areas at some venues (e.g., no-street-drinking zones). ? Venues are often cashless, requiring cards or mobile pay. ? ?
Additional Safety Notes
• Behavior Policies: Zero tolerance for discriminatory or anti-social actions; report incidents to staff or via text hotlines. ? First aid stations are available, and venues are ADA-compliant with wheelchair access and assistance. ? ?
• Variations: Security can be ramped up for specific reasons, like past health issues (e.g., COVID protocols during early 2023 shows) or external events, but normally it’s focused on preventing disruptions and ensuring smooth operations. ?
If you’re attending a specific show, check the venue’s website for the latest details, as policies can update based on local regulations.
It’s interesting, Springstein concerts of course have a zero tolerance policy for weapons and behavior but Ice and CBP overreacted with an armed highly antagonistic and threatening person while performing their jobs.

My wife and I saw U2 in the superdome. They mentioned that people should be welcomed here without restrictions. They apparently meant the US and not their concert.
I told her, I must have missed the open section here that didn’t require a ticket and vetting to get into.
What a bunch of jackasses.

If there’s anything they love more than making music it’s money

A bunch of virtue signaling twats.
I most disappointed in Lamb of God lead singer Randy Blyth. How can you front one of the hardest bands around and be such a spineless myopic pussy about your politics. Dude stands on a stage protected by a massive human border of security and then moans about ICE? Cmon man.

That’s (D)ifferent.

I personally met Biafra a few years ago, interviewing him with some friends for a podcast. Dude is an absolute arrogant, insufferable leftist prick. My friends were huge fans and they hate him after meeting him.

The other interesting thing is you’d think all these highly creative, open minded and introspective people would have unique and clever takes on politics and world events.
Nope.
They all believe same exact things and read from the same script.
It’s almost like they are hostages reading from a prewritten statement.

Morello is the worst. He is "the machine". He preaches communism but ive not seen him willing to give up the $50million or so that capitalism made him

All of these candy arse so called musicians tell everyone who chooses to listen to their garbage music to take up the leftist mantle and do shite they themselves will not do.
Do you think any of these wealthy musician1%'ers are housing and feeding thousands of illegals? Hell no! They want the tens of millions of US taxpayers, a majority who don't want the illegals here, to pay for their care.

Reminder that Randy Blythe once killed a guy for trying to get on stage

Self-avowed socialist Roger Waters asks $80 for t-shirts at his shows.

RATM pushes hard for this honor after spending a frickin decade or more "raging against the machine" and then requiring proof of vaccination to attend their reunion show.

No. I’m spot on. And you know it at well, as evidenced by your ad hominem.
