Lakers need two wing defenders to be a title threat.
Closing in on one in DeAndre Hunter. Cavs looking to shed salary. Cavs want Rui, Lakers are offering Knecht and a choice of Kleber or Vincent and the other going to the Nets.
Would save the Cavs money this year and allow them to drop below the 2nd apron in the offseason, which would be huge for them.

All I hear is next year it’s Luka and Reaves’ team and they suck this year. Reaves has been out for nearly 20 games in a row. The Lakers seem like they’re holding it together ok without him

Wrong- Lakers are much better with Reaves on the court. 15-8 vs 13-10 when he’s out.

One of two things caused the Luka trade.
1. Absolute & utter incompetence from Nico Harrison in making the worst trade in NBA history because of his perceived conditioning issues & not wanting to pay the super max plus he didn’t want Luka to be more powerful within the organization than him after signing the super max deal.
2. The NBA forced him to do this to help the Lakers
We will find out over time what the truth is.

All I said was people are saying they suck while one of their best players has missed 17+ straight games.
