We willingly handed entire swaths of our economy over to illegals and H1B individuals

How much English do you hear on construction sites?
We get exactly what we pay for with cheap labor. And our culture does too.

Who were "We" exactly suppose to vote for?

Thankfully nobody has been tougher on H1B’s than Trump. It will take time but the problem is slowly being solved.

The DC Uniparty/Corporatocracy has been selling out the US for 40 years, hopefully America First/MAGA can work towards reversing the damage.

We need the cheap labor for construction… I would have no problem converting Mexican illegals that are working in vital industries into H1B visa holders.
But no path to citizenship unless they go through the green card process
And no ability to vote whatsoever until a full citizen

Chicken you are the GOAT, but until every American is employed, layoffs should start and end with H1B FIRST.
You cant have a bunch of unemployed Americans with no hope walking around. Thats how REAL shite starts.

Julia Letlow really pissed me off this week with her call for H1B visa waiver for the crawfish industry. My office schedule has been packed with people trying to get a waiver for the 20 hour work requirement for SNAP despite having no serious medical condition. One ole baw this week said that he could not work because he has ADHD. He got really pissed when I said that his ADHD was not bad enough to cause limitations in his ability to work. He got pissed and went to one of the clinics NPs who signed it no questions asked.

Do any of these unemployed Americans like getting their hands dirty? Let's be real, you don't see many "Americans" working at construction sites... now why is that?

Historically speaking - the GOP has been pro-business
Pro business entails pro- growth policies and less regulations
It’s the business owners that are pro- illegal immigrant labor, and they tend to vote Republican
America First is not consistent with Republican policy

No, “WE” did not do this to ourselves. No right minded citizens would vote to sabotage their best interests.
CEOs and politicians did this along with a few US based Indian attorneys who knew how to game the system.

Citizens are voting for that everyday with their purchases.

If that is the case then the construction sector should be allowed to
collapse and reset. IMO
Maybe much of the new construction is needed to house illegals?
